Historical Grand Strategy In Development
The Game
Rule a dynasty. Build your realm. Shape history.
Medieval Realms: Dynasties is a historical grand strategy game set across the medieval Islamic world. You govern a dynasty, develop cities and territories, negotiate alliances and wage war at the campaign scale — not as a real-time tactical battle game.
What you do
A living strategy loop
The fantasy is simple: lead a dynasty, develop a realm and change the course of history. Each system below belongs to that loop; its status says what exists today.
Rule a dynasty
In Development
Lead a named ruling house and keep legitimacy. Choosing who inherits is not available yet.
Build cities and territories
In Development
Develop provinces, cities and the buildings that support your realm.
Negotiate
In Development
Forge alliances, rivalries and treaties from the map, not from a separate tactical layer.
Command armies
Playable
Move armies, defend borders and fight at campaign scale. There are no real-time tactical battles.
Economy and resources
Playable
Gather food, gold and materials, then decide what your cities produce.
Historical research
In Development
The world is built from historical maps and sources, then adapted so strategy stays readable.
First campaign
Al-Andalus
The only campaign currently in development is Al-Andalus. No other region is playable or announced as ready.
